Our baskets are made from plant fibres, so they smell and feel wonderfully of nature.
What basket makers usually call 'seagrass' is not actually an (under)water plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often cultivated by people, are separated, cut into strips, dried and then processed by hand.

When selecting our local producers, we attach importance to fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we buy our goods, we only work with adult and experienced craftsmen. We ensure all this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
