Loka is a round rug made of finely woven, extremely robust seagrass fibers. The natural shade radiates a warmth that enhances any room. The material gives your feet a small massage every time you step on it and gives you a little energy boost, especially when you get up in the morning.
The rug is therefore particularly suitable as a bedside table in the bedroom, but can also enhance the living climate in the living room or in the hallway as an optical centrepiece of the room. Loka is available in two different sizes and has a simple, no-frills look.

What basket makers usually call 'seagrass' is not actually an (under)water plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often cultivated by people, are separated, cut into strips, dried and then processed by hand.

When selecting our local producers, we attach importance to fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we buy our goods, we only work with adult and experienced craftsmen. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
