Our marble products come from a region in East Java that is famous for its marble crafts. It has long been a tradition for the younger generation to learn the craft of marble carving from the older generation. Only recognized companies are allowed to mine marble in this area, which keeps the ecosystem intact. Marble products are made in three steps: the marble is first pounded, then chiseled into the desired shape and finally polished. The main processing is done traditionally by hand, but sometimes also with the help of special machines.
