Rattan palms usually grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and taking up a lot of nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow quickly without chemical additives, must be cut regularly and can be used as a material for furniture and baskets after drying. This makes rattan an extremely durable and widely available material.

When selecting our local producers, we attach importance to fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we buy our goods, we only work with adult and experienced craftsmen. We ensure all this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
