Nirama is made of high-quality seagrass that is artfully woven crosswise. With this playful look, the small rug is a real eye-catcher in your home. We attach great importance to natural materials, which is why the raw material is only dried and processed without further treatment.
It is perfect as a stylish rug in the hallway or as a decorative element in the bathroom. It gives every room an airy atmosphere and ensures a relaxed indoor climate. Nirama also feels particularly cosy next to the bed, where it acts as a pleasant foot caress. Every morning your feet are awakened by the rough texture of the sea grass – a real treat for the senses!

What basket makers usually call 'seagrass' is not actually an (under)water plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often cultivated by people, are separated, cut into strips, dried and then processed by hand.

When selecting our local producers, we attach importance to fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we buy our goods, we only work with adult and experienced craftsmen.
